Adriana Armstrong

With her passion for hunting and her fun-loving spirit, eight year old Adriana Armstrong of Elizabethtown, Illinois is already making quite a name for herself in the outdoor world. Adriana currently holds the record for the youngest girl to complete a turkey grand slam in one season at barely 7 years old. Adriana has been the subject of several articles including an article entitled “Youngest Grand Slam” which can be seen on several websites and in magazines. She has appeared on 5 nationally aired shows such as SHE’s Beyond the Lodge and Cabela’s Memories in the Field. Adriana is also a co-host for the Kids Gone Hunting DVD’s. Adriana has taken turkeys in 5 states while traveling with her parents, Darrick and Susan, and her big sister, Alli.

Adriana started hunting at the age of 5. At the age of 6 she took her first whitetail deer and turkey. Her big sister, Alli, was there cheering her on all the way. To date, Adriana has taken 10 turkeys, 2 whitetail deer, and too many squirrels to count. She loves shooting her bow and is looking forward to taking a deer during archery season. She dreams of the day she will be able to go elk hunting with her dad, sister, and grandpa.

Adriana enjoys being outside as much as possible. She loves to ride horses and four-wheelers and playing with all the animals on the farm. She enjoys fishing, shooting, and getting one up on her big sister, Alli. Adriana is also becoming quite a gymnast. Even though Adriana keeps quite busy with all her activities, she has still maintained a straight A average throughout elementary school.

All of Adriana’s hunts have been captured on video and are featured on her family’s DVD’s called Armstrongs Outdoors. The newest edition is called Family Fun in the Outdoors which features over 19 hunts. These DVD’s can be purchased on the website allliarmstrong.com, by contacting the Armstrongs at dasa@shawneelink.com or calling (618) 287-8827.
